RECIPE: Homemade Wheat Noodle

Noodle batches
I wanted to experiment with whole wheat flour to make a more chewy texture noodle this time, so I decided to use a whole wheat flour with 16% fiber.

Trader Joe's Whole Wheat Flour

I only mix it with water and salt, and the result is not as great as I thought. I realized I am not a wheat person at all. The whole wheat is taking over the texture of noodle that you can feel the small bits and pieces of grain inside the noodle. It's definitely a FAILED PROJECT for myself! :(

  8. I think we try to hard to make things healthier all the time. If it isn't broke - don't fix it!
